petTracer is an ultra-light 34 g rescue system built specifically for cats. A safe, comfortable collar with one mission: to find and rescue your cat, wherever she is. Unlike plain GPS trackers, we combine satellite positioning with our own radio technology, so you can find your cat even in garages, sheds or basements.

A microchip only helps once your cat has been found and scanned at a vet clinic. That can take days or weeks. With petTracer you see your cat's location in real time – and in an emergency, every minute counts.

No. You can connect, set up and use your petTracer collar with the petTracer app on your smartphone in just a few minutes.

No. petTracer is designed specifically for cats – that's exactly why it works so well. Cats move and behave differently from dogs, and our algorithms are built around that.

No GPS device can guarantee that with absolute certainty. But petTracer offers the highest possible chance: you get to know your cat's natural territory, and with radio close-range finding you can even search areas without GPS reception.

Yes – you can activate the built-in beeper from the app to help locate your cat nearby.

Yes. You can remotely activate the built-in LED to spot your cat more easily at dusk or at night.

Yes – the collar is built to withstand rain, mud and cold. Please don't submerge it in water for extended periods though; clean only with a damp cloth.

One size, infinitely adjustable (minimum inner circumference 21.5 cm). For smaller cats, the inner circumference can be reduced by around 2.5 cm with a separately available inlay. The inlay is not automatically included in the set and can be purchased separately on the accessories page. For your cat's safety: minimum body weight of 3 kg and neck circumference of 19 cm.

Thanks to the SafeTrace technology, up to 30 days, depending on mode (LIVE / FAST / NORMAL / SLOW) and your cat's activity. LIVE delivers a position every 15 seconds, SLOW every 4 hours while active.

Via the HomeStation, which is included in the set. Fully charged in about 2.5 hours. You can get notified by email whenever charging is needed.

The HomeStation is both charging dock and radio receiver. It receives the collar's GPS coordinates and forwards them to the petTracer servers so you can see the location in the app.

Yes. The HomeStation needs a Wi-Fi connection to send your cat's GPS coordinates to our servers.

Yes. In normal operation petTracer doesn't rely on mobile network signals. If you take the HomeStation with you for a mobile search, however, it needs to be connected to the internet via your smartphone's hotspot, which in turn needs a working data connection.

GPS shows you your cat's search area outdoors. Radio close-range finding kicks in when your cat is nearby but not visible – for example in a garage or shed, where GPS can't get through.

The typical radio range is around 800 m (roughly 0.5 miles). It depends heavily on the surroundings, buildings, obstacles and the HomeStation's position; we can't guarantee a specific minimum range or coverage at all times. If your cat leaves coverage, the collar keeps recording GPS positions and automatically updates the route once she's back in range. In an emergency you can take the HomeStation with you (phone hotspot + power bank).

Place the HomeStation as high up and as close to a window as possible. For wider coverage, additional HomeStations can be used on opposite sides of the building. HomeStations should not be placed in the basement or garage.

The collar receives GPS signals from satellites and sends them to the HomeStation. The HomeStation connects to the internet via Wi-Fi and makes the position available in the app.

No. One petTracer set supports up to three collars. For more cats, you simply add a second set. The app shows up to five different collars with photo, name and colour.

Yes – for your cat's safety we recommend a minimum body weight of 3 kg and a neck circumference of 19 cm. There should be room for one finger (max. 2 cm) between the collar and the neck.

The petTracer collar does not emit mobile network radiation. Instead it uses a radio signal similar to a baby monitor, with radiation levels around 100 times lower than a mobile signal. petTracer was designed from the ground up to put your cat's safety and wellbeing first.

Yes. The safety buckle is designed to open if your cat gets caught by the collar.

The membership keeps the system active: unlimited access to the location services, app and system updates, and personal support.

You have a 30-day money-back guarantee from receipt of the goods, in addition to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal.
